1. Keep On Smiling

    72

If at times you feel you want to cry.
And life seems such a trial.
Above the clouds there’s a bright blue sky
So make your tears a smile.

As you travel on life’s way
With its many ups and downs
Remember it’s quite true to say
One smile is worth a dozen frowns.

    Among the worlds expensive things
    A smile is very cheap
And when you give a smile away,
You get one back to keep.

Happiness comes at times to all
    But sadness comes unbidden
And sometimes a few tears must fall
    Among the laughter hidden.

So when friends have sadness on their face
    And troubles round them piled
The world will seem a better place
    And all because you smiled.

  2. My Soul is Yellow Today

    52

    People care too much.
    How their hair looks
    or their clothes.
They don’t care about what matters
    The soul
The soul is what truly matters
that thing that is deep inside.
    The soul is always fashionable
no matter what the season is.
The soul is something that changes color a million times
from when you are born to when you die.
    My soul is yellow today
    because I’m happy inside.
On Thursday my soul was green
    for I envied another girl.
The soul is by far the best accessory you can have.
And that’s what they should write in the magazines.

  3. Sometimes I come home and cry

    61

I've been bullied and it makes me mad.
Sometimes I come home and cry to my mom and dad.
I think school is a great place
but not when someone makes fun of me to my face.
I try to be nice to everyone I know
even when I get made fun of just for show.
Being bullied will never stop me.
To be the best person I can be.
I know that one day everyone will finally see
how it truly feels to be me.
It can make you angry, sad and even bad,
But at the end of the day it makes me glad
to know that I am a stronger person because of it even though it makes me mad.

  4. This Thing Called Life

    122

    Sometimes it’s happy; sometimes sad.
Sometimes it is good, and sometimes bad.
Once it was old; now it’s a fad.
Doesn’t writing these silly poems make you mad?
    I’d rather sing silly songs.
It is fun and oh so nice.
Sometimes, you have to wonder about
    This thing called life.

  5. Anyone planning to go Veggie one day a week?

    47

Once a week, is not too much at all

Each year, millions of animals are slaughtered on factory farms for human consumption. Factory farming is a leading cause of global warming because it increases the levels of gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide. Because meat is produced on factory farms, those that consume meat on a daily basis, or have a diet that depends heavily on meat and poultry contribute greatly to the amounts of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Adopting a vegetarian or vegan diet, or even just opting to go vegetarian once a week, which can be as easy as choosing a salad for lunch, can decrease the levels of greenhouse gases, in the atmosphere.

  6. What God really wants from us

    148

All people have different beliefs and different gods
All say they love god but they fight in their name
Wrong persons just need someone to blame on
At last they end up in gods name as an excuse for their mistakes
Gods belief should only be used for love, faith and unity
    Not for our personal vengeance
When all people respect and love others and their belief
And know what god really wants from us
That day this world would be a heaven which
We no need to search after death!!!!!

  7. Can I Go Back to Your Womb, Mommy?

    93

Can I go back to your womb, mommy?
My life is so unfair and terrible
Can I hug you tonight, mommy?
Those people are so mean and cause me trouble
Can you hold my hands, mommy?
My enemy try to call me with a label

Can I go back to your womb, mommy?
I'm tired of facing the truth–so painful
Can I hug you tonight, mommy?
Those problems turn my life not so cheerful
Can you hold my hands, mommy?
I'm standing on a place which is so awful

Can I go back to your womb, mommy?
I feel lonely and sick of this world
Can I hug you tonight, mommy?
I have nothing more to be sold
Can you hold my hands, mommy?
I have neither faith nor religion to hold

Can I go back to your womb, mommy?
I never ask to be born like this
Can I hug you tonight, mommy?
What a cruel life it is
Can you hold my hands, mommy?
I feel like I fall into abyss

  8. Love for everyone

    352

    Does it really matter what your religion is;
Or the color of your skin?
What church you attend on sunday,
or the neighborhood you live in?

Is the car you drive really important?
Does it make the man or woman inside?
Does any thing in this world truely matter?
Can you take it to the other side?

Something is wrong with our nation today,
we seem to have lost all common sense.
    We no longer stand united,
we use discrimination as our defense.

We try to exhault our selves higher,
    then everyone else we see;
We try to prove we are better inside,
but our selves we can not decieve.

Let us put an end to the hatred,
    lets' put discrimination in the past;
Let us restore our nation to greatness,
with a greatness that will surely last.

  9. A Blue Rose is new to the flower kingdom

    42

Genetically modified flower blue rose is unique!
    Rose colour gives hope of future by its very look;
Red rose is unique among flowers as it is queen
In the flower world nobody can deny having it!

Yellow rose shines bright in the long green garden
Full of many trees and other flower plants broad!
Pink rose flowers are many everywhere as border
Mainly in the botanical garden of hill stations here!

Blue rose, a new addition in the flower kingdom
Among lavender, blue bells and rare kurinjis of
Light blue, violet and ink blue colours everywhere
Stands majestic and having healing touch to all!

Rose is rose by whatever name it is called and also
Rose is rose by whatever colour it is produced ever!
