A Law of the Universe

It is a law of the universe that retaliation, hatred, and revenge only continue the cycle and never stop it. Reconciliation does not mean that we surrender rights and conditions, but rather that we use love in our negotiations. It means that we see ourselves in the opponent — for what is the opponent but a being in ignorance, and we ourselves are also ignorant of many things. Therefore, only compassion and mindfulness can free us. ~Maha Ghosananda

Sometimes we humans, we forget the conditions of our existence. we believe that only our intelligence, will lead us to a happy ending .. But we don't ask any questions about the "happy ending."
How can it be an "end" and "happy"?
I don't pretend that I'm someone different, I too am ignorant, but I can say that – in the face of a little thing like this photo or this quote – I am able to identify my desire to unite with the ultimate.
    Thank you +Jendhamuni Sos .

For the way of gentleness and forgiveness, I'm not mature enough. The mysterious lotus flower has opened, no doubt influence the power that way.

There are things man can not forgive.
How can "Maha Ghosananda"  give his hand to these unspeakable …
Beautiful Cambodia should never make it easy on creatures                               "like them".
    Sweet lovely flower.

+Dietrich Lombarde Maha Ghosananda is an extra-ordinary monk, his compassion cannot be measured. I spent so much time with him when he was alive, and realized how unique and special he is. This monk speak very few word, but his actions is tremendous. I have never met anyone on earth with this quality.

At age 93, he passed a way peaceful with a smile. He never lost his smiles, no matter what, till he departed this earth. His smile is very infectious, always happy, kind and very humble. He's the only reason I joined social media. I was in pain when he passed away. Wanted to carry on his legacy so I come to social media to spread out his teaching.

For ones heart to exceed and for ones enemy to be overcome one must break the warranted spirit.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
