A person who holds God and man in one thought

A religious man is a person who holds God and man in one thought at one time, at all times, who suffers harm done to others, whose greatest passion is compassion, whose greatest strength is love and defiance of despair.  ~Abraham J. Heschel

+William Seraphin Sell them to private business owners. Prime minister in my country and his party members are corrupted people, formed just to destroy Cambodia. The PM is a dictator. Holding power about 30 years already.

Jen I don't understand ,what are they going to do with this land that they're taking.? And why now are they doing this? Here in this country their theft is covered by a word called foreclosure. In 2005 a wrongful foreclosure was on my 276,000 home that I built for my daughter. Today's someone else lives there and I have not seen one dime of compensation. But it destroyed my credit for the rest of my life. Out of the three banks that were involved one stayed in place that was Wells Fargo. You see it's going on everywhere. They also took my land a 2.1 million dollar apple orchard . And 3 more acres to boot. Now I live in the small but humble apartment like you said less is better but it doesn't stop the bitterness

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
