Holding on to Anger

Holding on to anger,
resentment and hurt
only gives you tense muscles,
a headache and a sore jaw
from clenching your teeth.
Forgiveness gives you back
the laughter and the lightness
in your life.

    Arguement for argument sake
with out looking for facts and
    Always accepting the false
    Will fetch no change
    In human beings

The words that strives splashing my little sister in their contributions as the water flow and overthrow them for miles. The meaning of words is retained because it is based on truth and insight. Much of what I say to the wind carries it. It evaporates because it is inconsequential.

Thank you for sharing these important words of wisdom.  Hatred only hurts you and not your intended target of hate.  To forgive all and move on, is the key to happiness and laughter; it frees your soul and spirit.  To not forgive is a life of 'internal torture.'  Have a great evening, my friend.  Godspeed

Happiness is caused by the realisation that he or she will be sorted out anyway.

Adil Shah G, Tension is spread all around you and you have to walk through it right from morning to night. One can not get rid of it. A few are luck to burst in laughter and I am eager to meet them.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
