I Love The Rain

Let the rain kiss you
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops
Let the rain sing you a lullaby
The rain makes still pools on the sidewalk
The rain makes running pools in the gutter
The rain plays a little sleep song on our roof at night
And I love the rain.

I think the rain is like a struggle in their life, but when it stops, they can see clearer, cause you learn from your struggles, and everything just looks so much more beautiful….

I love to walk in the forest when it's raining. Most of all I love a good thunderstorm, BUT PREFER TO WATCH AND LISTEN FROM A COY SPOT.

A clever idea for an animated GIF, and a carefully chosen poem to accompany it. Nice to see a post with some thought in it for a change.

I love the rain at night, riding my bike in a warm rain is nice, the rain purifies the air and land, and enhances the fragrance of flowers. A saying goes " all sunshine and no rain makes for a dessert "

Rain is one of my favorite ingredients to a meditative walk / run in the mountains. It seems to make tangible the act of cleansing the mind, body, and soul.
    Let it rain
    Peace

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
