Life is tough, but you must be tougher

There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up. ~John Holmes

I cannot visit anyone's page today. Most of our friends here are not doing well at all because of the Terror at Boston Marathon yesterday. Some lost their legs…Very sad…Up to now I still don't hear back from all my friends in Boston yet….

Don't wear your heart on your sleeve, beware of the ones you lean on, because they might be the one to do you in

Jendhamuni, indeed life can be tough and unbearable on occasion(s). We must dig down deep, and move forward. This is when our ‘spirit’s’ kick in, our core belief’s to see us through tough times. Stay strong……….Godspeed

People will say only 3 dead, the hundred + injured need all the attention. Hope the perpetrators will be held accountable, for their dumb and senseless act. Attacking people who love their sport and their supporters.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
