Buddhist monk impostors besiege Public Security Bureau

According to the Inner Mongolia-based Northern Papers, over 100 bogus Buddhist monks overran a local Public Security Bureau and were captured in Inner Mongolia on Aug. 7.

Over 100 Buddhist monks besieged the Guyang County Public Security Bureau, Baotou City of Inner Mongolia. The local Public Security Bureau assembled 500 policemen and arrested 178 fake Buddhist monks, thoroughly destroyed the false Buddhist monks of this organized criminal clique.

It is reported that Public Security Bureau in Baotou City has organized a criminal investigation into these fake Buddhist monks at present.

According to the trial of first instance, the fake Buddhist monks were found to be an organized criminal clique. Their members were farmers in Henan Province who posed as Buddhist monks performing Wushu, selling drugs and treating illnesses.
