The Earth is so Beautiful

The earth is so beautiful. We are beautiful also. We can allow ourselves to walk mindfully, touching the earth, our wonderful mother, with each step. We don't need to wish our friends, 'Peace be with you.' Peace is already with them. We only need to help them cultivate the habit of touching peace in each moment. ~Thich Nhat Hanh

'We don't need to wish our friends, 'Peace be with you.'
Yet we can choose to offer this as a blessing to one another because the focus is on the word and feelings that the word creates which in this case is indeed peace.

I think that perhaps someday Don'ts and (kNots) ought to be removed from the English language as it causes confusion and powerlessness > especially when learning from another foreign language.
To refrain from war is to practice peace.
As I choose to focus upon peace > I eliminate any reference to mentioning of anything other than that > the opposite as we know it is: war.
If we say we don't want war… what is the focus upon ? The focus is then upon war whether we want it (or Knot).
With all due respect and reverence in mind, in that I truly appreciate all that you share and are passionate about and thank you for allowing me to present my "piece".
By choosing peace, sharing peace, and even preaching peace > we can eliminate anything other than that.
We love you +Jendhamuni Sos and all you do.

Tell all this rubbish to people in Refugee camps. To poor people living in squalor in the Indian subcontinent and the slums of south America. What you are posting is pure self indulgence, and nothing to do with the real world. Go and get yourself an Education.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
