The Wonders of Life

Life is filled with suffering,
but it is also filled with many wonders,
like the blue sky, the sunshine,
the eyes of a baby.
To suffer is not enough.
We must also be in touch
with the wonders of life.
They are within us and all around us,
everywhere, any time.

I love Thich Nhat Hahn. He helped introduce me to Buddhism. He's a very profound man and a force for good in the world.

I like him too +Christopher Lamke A very courageous monk. Thich Nhat Hanh has been living in exile from his native Vietnam since the age of forty. In that year of 1966, he was banned by both the non-Communist and Communist governments for his role in undermining the violence he saw affecting his people in Vietnam.

Life IS suffering. Therefore, any beauty encountered is the product of a deranged mind. Think of all the visually pleasing things in life that use their beauty as a way of entrapment. Beauty dose not make our world a safer place to live.

Life is a tale told by an ediot which is full of sound and fury.
Life is a game which leads us to venture.
It is the life's beautiful nature.
This is the great contemplation of the unseen.

Only the one who has gone through so much of suffering in hell will be able to tell you that life is a blessing . It is good to be alive seeing the grandeur of creation. It is a gift given to us to make us realise this is a wonderful world. In return, we have to be grateful, treat all things with respect, sincerity and kindness.
All beings have Buddha nature(awakening nature )..
For God so love the world, He shows us this Sacred wonder so as we will be able to share treasure of abundant life forever.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
