In my mind and heart

Acceptance is when you can look back and say, hey, I may not be okay with the fact that that happened, and I may not ever be, but there are new things in my mind and heart. New things to take my energy and attention. Things that actually deserve it. Things that don’t force me into having to accept anything I don’t want to or move on. Acceptance is tomorrow. Even if the pain is still there, you realize it may always be, and somehow, that’s okay. ~Brianna Wiest

When you abide where enlightenment resides. When all discursive thoughts cease. when all desirous things have been abandoned. when understanding of the emptiness nature of all conditioned existence has been given a home in the heart. Then find a cushion and get enlightened; help dispel the misery of the world.

Acceptance is now. The ever decreasing circle of time is now, not tomorrow or yesterday. Now! Pain is a state of mind, inflicted on our state of being by our ego and all that implies; when we want something but get something else, we get upset. This sense of not getting what we want is caused by the poisons of body, speech and mind.Ultimately it all passes, nothing stays, like the clouds in the sky, they are just passing, they don't stay.

I like your mind and way of thinking. We all have many regrets in life but have to move forward. Our regrets are our lessons in life. What am i going to do today to improve my life. If i learned something today that benefits me or my employer i had a great day. If i learned nothing today it was mediocure

My Reflection

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
