1. Give Without Expectations

    36

A give without expectations, even a simple thanks from a receiver, will keep you young, beautiful, and happy. I shot this beautiful pink rose this morning before heading out to work. #wp

  3. My two hands

    36

I shot these flowers from my neighbor's garden today

I hold my face in my two hands.
    No, I am not crying.
I hold my face in my two hands
to keep the loneliness warm –
    two hands protecting,
    two hands nourishing,
    two hands preventing
    my soul from leaving me
in anger. ~Thich Nhat Hanh #wp

    I shot this on September 6, 2012.

  4. It is hard to live in the world

    65

It is hard to live in the world
And hard to live out of it.
It is hard to be one among many.

And for the wanderer, how long is the road
    Wandering though many lives!

  5. Relax with Nature & Music

    8

This is a collection of Bees, Butterflies & insects in Menu's back garden.
Lots of Bee varities these days in the garden. It is always a relaxing thought to know that these small wonders of nature are close at hand.

"Plants cannot move, and so they rely on other creatures – normally insects – to move their pollen for them. The insects must be attracted to the flowers so that they will pollinate them. Most of the time, the flowers produce nectar to attract the insects. The bright petals are an advertisement, telling the insects that there is nectar or edible pollen available.

To make the seeds, flowers need to send their powdery pollen to other plants, and get new pollen in return. Some flowers contain sweet nectar that hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and other flying insects love to sip. As they reach inside the flower to sip the nectar, the sticky pollen falls on the birds' or insects' backs, heads, feathers or feet. When they fly into the next flower, they drop off the pollen from the first flower, and so on.

Flowers that do not make nectar rely on the wind to spread their pollen.Bees use the nectar they collect from flowers to make honey. Next time you enjoy honey on your toast, remember that it all started with a flower." #wp

  6. Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth

"Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue." ~Buddha #wp

I shot this scene nearby my workplace this morning. The reflection from rain flood, makes the leaves look so pretty.

  7. Nature and Trees Birds – Beautiful Farm Animals

    12

Thanks to my dearest youtube sister, Menu. I love her videos so much

"This farm was such a beautiful attraction at Birds World. Once you are inside, it feels like as if you had a farm. You feel so much at home. Some birds & animals roam freely inside. There were so many farm animals inside it. The farm was very special for small children. Not even children even adults can enjoy it. There is a special programme called Animal Encounters where children can touch & cuddle the smaller animals like rabbits, gunea pigs etc. I also captured a few scenes from this for those who love farm animals a lot. Music by General Fuzz & Re-Lab from Jamendo .com"  #wp

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
