1. Very sleepy!

    Comment

Animals can communicate quite well.  And they do.
And generally speaking, they are ignored.

  2. Wings to fly…

    Comment

Your heart understood when I needed a friend.
Your eyes were stern when I needed a lesson.
Your love and strength has always guided me
And given me wings to fly. ~sms4smile

  3. We have to embrace

    44

When you say something unkind, when you
do something in retaliation, your anger increases.
You make the other person suffer, and they try hard
to say or do something back to make you suffer,
and get relief from their suffering. That is
    how conflict escalates.

Just like our organs, our anger is part of us.
When we are angry, we have to go back to ourselves
and take good care of our anger. We cannot say,
‘Go away, anger, I don’t want you.’ When you have
    a stomachache, you don’t say, ‘I don’t want you
stomach, go away.’ No, you take care of it.
In the same way, we have to embrace and
take good care of our anger.

    ~Thich Nhat Hanh

  5. The whispering branch…

    Comment

Each kind of tree is a sort of musical instrument: the apple a cello, the old oak a bass viol, the cypress a harp, the willow a flute, the young pine a muted violin.  Put your ear close to the whispering branch and you may catch what it is saying.  ~Guy Murchie, Jr.   Link to Google+
