1. Because I Love

    Comment

All, everything that I understand, I only understand because I love. ~Leo Tolstoy

  2. Two kinds of forgiveness

    Comment

For there are two kinds of forgiveness in the world: the one you practice because everything really is all right, and what went before is mended. The other kind of forgiveness you practice because someone needs desperately to be forgiven, or because you need just as badly to forgive them, for a heart can grab hold of old wounds and go sour as milk over them. ~Catherynne M. Valente

  3. If the Lord should bring…

    Comment

If the Lord should bring a wicked man to heaven, heaven would be hell to him; for he who loves
not grace upon earth will never love it in heaven. ~Christopher Love

  5. The only cure for loneliness

    Comment

We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread, but there are many more dying for a little love. ~Mother Teresa

  8. The memory will haunt you

    Comment

When a person is too proud to admit a mistake, they choose
to live with the guilt in their hearts. They think that guilt
is just a feeling and can not harm them. But in reality,
as long as you have not humbled yourself and admitted
your wrong, you will always feel trapped by what you
did in the past. Its memory will haunt you every day
of your life.   ~Dr Anil Kr Sinha

  9. Your attitude of flexibility

    Comment

To live your full potential, always be ready to encounter some
unseen obstacles. Your attitude of flexibility will react
immediately to mend the way for the right track. If it demands
change in approach, go with confidence. Never be afraid
of a change as you may get something positive. Change
is good, because change means progress.

    ~Dr Anil Kr Sinha

  10. Your mistakes have taught you

    Comment

We all should be wise enough not to make the same mistakes twice.
We should all learn to make amends, forgive and move on.
Regret nothing because this has taught you something valuable.
Do not forget the right way that your mistakes have taught you.

    ~Dr Anil Kr Sinha

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
