1. Looking inside yourself

    68

Nobody can say anything about you. Whatsoever people say is about themselves. But you become very shaky, because you are still clinging to a false center. That false center depends on others, so you are always looking to what people are saying about you. And you are always following other people, you are always trying to satisfy them. You are always trying to be respectable, you are always trying to decorate your ego. Rather than being disturbed by what others say, you should start looking inside yourself. To know the real self is not so cheap. But people are always hankering for cheap things. ~Osho

  2. With Love…

    Comment

    The wind awakened the earth,
The sun brightened up the day
    Birds added music to lives.
Your smiles bring peace and hope.
    To wake up each day,
    is such a blessing.
    May you be continuously blessed
    With good health and strength.

  3. If you are worried you get a wrinkle…

Shakespeare said don’t worry because if you are worried you get a wrinkle, so why don’t you
smile and get a dimple. Always smile and be happy. ~sms

  4. Like crossing through rope…

    Comment

Sometimes you have to find the good in goodbye.
The past is a place of reference, not a place of residence.
Getting over the painful experience is much like crossing
through rope end to end. You have to let go and move forward.

  5. I want to be the reason

    Comment

    Every morning the day starts
    With a beautiful sunshine
And with melody of the birds.
    You are the reason
    Why I smile every morning
And I want to be the reason
    For your happiness.

  6. The way I look at it…

    Comment

Yesterday I was sad, today I am happy. Yesterday I had a problem,
today I still have the same problem. But today I changed the way
    I look at it. ~C. JoyBell C.

  7. Many times…

    Comment

Many times we are our worst enemy. If we could learn to conquer
ourselves, then we will have a much easier time overcoming the obstacles
that are in front of us. ~Stephan Labossiere

“Life’s difficulties is a test of how much we can endure.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
