Avielle Richman’s laughter, smile was a joy to those she knew

Avielle Richman’s spirit drew people in.

Those who knew the 6-year-old girl with curly, brown hair will remember her infectious smile, peals of laughter and her spirit, according to her obituary.

Avielle moved to Newtown last year with her parents, Jennifer Hensel and Jeremy Richman. She was among those killed Friday when a gunman opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

She spent the summer swimming, going to the library and practicing archery. Avielle also went on a 1,300-mile road trip with her family from Sandy Hook to Iowa, according to the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier, based in Waterloo, Iowa.

Please do not get depressed my dear +vidya sagar Life is very fragile…Nothing is permanent. Even I, myself, don't even know, when it is my turn to say 'goodbye' either. We can always chant the great compassion for these young and innocent ones…

i understand ur feeling but the culprit should be punished by the govt. at the fastest and see that it doesnt occur again. Govt has to create confidence to the people. this shows lack of government protection to innocent people.

The prison of mental illness, how come a country which spend so much on arms spend so little on mental heath. Healing comes from the cognition of human conciousness.

+Jendhamuni Sos This is my work, these persons are unable to interact socially whilst they have a social need to interact. The genius Einstein more or less cured himself, but Autistic persons left untreated are a walking time bomb. Drugs are very expensive, but 26 human lives far more. Still the same people argue against universal health care and sensible gun control.

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
