Look for the good in everyone you meet

How would your life be different if…You stopped making negative judgmental assumptions about people you encounter? Let today be the day…You look for the good in everyone you meet and respect their journey. ~Steve Maraboli

what makes you think they are not judging you from the get go.  No I won't give them the benefit of the doubt. People are too xxxx-xx these days to be all great and wonderful.  Well I should say there are a few , but they are hard to come by.

+Barbara Smith i use to call people just to say hello and good morning, hello good evening, hello good night. I got a bunch of negativity behind doing those kind things of showing concern and care. So I stopped. So I journey on.

To be totally tolerant and non-judgmental of the behavior of others, it would be necessary to be unethical and immoral yourself, and to reject the age old concepts of good and evil. Someone who rapes and murders children because they enjoy doing it, would have to be accepted in the same way everyone else is. This might be an easy way to ignore realities, but it certainly lacks any common sense, and would surely lead to this world becoming far more chaotic than it already is. +Jendhamuni Sos

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
