They have no real shelter

Poor people in my country, Cambodia
When you are sad, when you are not happy, because life does not turn out as you wished it to be, please look at this picture and think about the suffering of the poor. Having no bed, no pillow, no blanket, no food, no drink… miserable, indeed. You will be able to wear a genuine smile and appreciate with what you are having, if and only if you are able to throw your eyes this far… ~Jendhamuni

Jen could you give me an explanation why they're doing this to these people? And I thought I had the understanding that President Obama was going to help but I don't see that at all somehow I feel the hostilities got worse.

Washer machines and dryers are my favorite in developed countries.

With sufficient knowledge and some not hard to get things, you can have drinking water.

It is just hand wringing clothes always annoyed me.

Everyone should be glad for what they do have. I know I cherish every day, and I have been very lucky.

Lord ! Have mercy. My problem is: I know not if they have Christ in their life.
If they are suffering like that, at least, they should be able to live with Jesus when he comes back. However, it's not the case many times.
Lord, plz , wake up their mind, send somebody on their way to lead them to you. Send an angel to lead them to you. May your holy spirit touch their heart. Save them. For, at the end, there will be no difference. We will be equal. We will live forever with you.
We suffer to much . Save each and everyone of us. This world is gone.
Come, save us for your glory. In Jesus' name we pray.

    Amen

Do you believe that, mostly, all religions lead to the truth and that they are following their true religion? as we do!!!! In the end I believe that all who kept their eyes on God will go to heaven, regardless of the background and life i another country. I believe that  All of us will miss our calling for judging one anothers faith-whatever it is, you are still believing in
    faith!!!!!!!!

In america, why deal with the inevitable,  but the public, mayor, senate, governor, whomever, the fact still remains that we, as poor, in america, fact the same turmoil as many in cambodia, and skid row should tell you a lot about us.

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
