A friend who cares

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares. ~Henri J.M. Yes, dearJendhamuni Sos.
It's like always. You can be blinded by many things, including people. You only see with the naked eye and is selfish. Until you realize the true friends and important things in life, do not shine outward .. 🙂 🙂

True. But I do not why sometimes a person who left us in the middle still means the most to us. I find no answer to this. Why sometimes someone means the most to us while we no more mean anything to him/her.

When we ask a friend about how they care they might want to start a
relationship with or they don't know how to describe how they care

  27. Diana Mcrae

    February 17, 2014

So very little it takes just to be there and listen, and that bit of time is so little compared to what else you could do to help someone in need of a friend, a caring listening ear. Nobody likes negative, but it doesn't hurt anyone to be compassionate. Not every one has people in their life that seem to care. A little time and understanding shouldn't hurt anyone. Look how Jesus sacrificed himself even for the ones that would ask "what makes you think I want to hear this?" People aren't Jesus, but he was there for the ones that wouldn't listen to him. Why are humans sometimes so rude that they don't care if they can help by listening.

No one can stop us from thinking. If it gives u pleasure & peace carry on

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
