A part of me

A rare flower from my homeland, Cambodia
I may not be there when you need me, but a part of me laughs when you’re happy and cries when you’re sad, the other part stays strong to pray for you. That’s the best thing a far friend can do.

In India, it is called "nagalinga poo". Naga-snake. Linga–god Shiva. Poo-flower. The flower looksgos like as if a snake is guarding the god with its petels. It has got a rare fragrance, and the flower belongs to gods, and hence in India people won't keep the flowers on hair for decorations.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
