A Weapon my Masters gave me

Compassion is the Weapon given by my Masters
They taught me to be like the Earth
Calm, kind, patient, and compassionate
Willing to accept both pleasant & unpleasant words.
Earth remains calm and neutral, with open heart.
Masters said, “Little girl, take care of this weapon
and not a single moment, lose it to the so-called enemies.” ~Jendhamuni

Sky suddenly began to rain, tick, tick drops on the water, the water ripples, so I'm enjoying the scenery.

Compassion is something that is given to those who deserve. You should not have that for the people who are cruel to others.

Compassion for all beings, not only the one you love…no!…. compassion even for your enemies. They need it most. And you will learn patience….

+Harit Doshi My definition of compassion is to share somebodies suffering. A cruel person suffers from his own cruelty. Our task should be to end his cruelty.

Sir +Pieter Hibma , how you can end cruel person's cruelty? By surrendering to them or by bringing them down by any means? Generally cruel people these days dont understand words easily. They need a catalyst call beating to let that thing get into their brains. I say this because none of us here are as good as Gautam Buddha whose mere presence made people change their life. I will do whatever is within my limits to end cruelty.

+Harit Doshi I had to take care of a psychopath, he suffers because he is locked up because of his cruelty. Wish I could get rid of his illness but we can't.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
