Anyone who falls in LOVE

Anyone who falls in love is searching for the missing pieces of themselves. So anyone who's in love gets sad when they think of their lover. It's like stepping back inside a room you have fond memories of, one you haven't seen in a long time. ~Haruki Murakami

I disagree. Sadness is absolutely not a part of falling in love. If that's the case then it's deception.

Isn't the essence of LOVE the fact that the lover becomes that part if yourself and makes you whole!! At least that is my experience!! 🙂

So what is the secret of never falling in love?

+Jendhamuni Sos I meant the secret of loving people unconditionally even when they won't love you back. I'm still unable to do that and am way too attached. Missed you too! I need some time to go through your posts slowly.

+Roxana Bravo My dear, I missed you always. I'm a bit different. If I choose to love someone, I will love him unconditionally. Even if the person does not love me back. It takes time to cultivate this kind of love.  Keep practicing, one day you will see and feel the difference.

+Jendhamuni Sos  It is hard when it is romantic attachment and not just a friendly love. I need to work on that; meanwhile, I think I will just keep distant.

Love binds and unite totally two different hearts. On the other side of the coin,it hurts and disappoint one heart and it tear it into pieces.
Its better to remain single then getting married.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
