Around us

Around us, life bursts with miracles–a glass of water, a ray of sunshine, a leaf, a caterpillar, a flower, laughter, raindrops. If you live in awareness, it is easy to see miracles everywhere. Each human being is a multiplicity of miracles. Eyes that see thousands of colors, shapes, and forms; ears that hear a bee flying or a thunderclap; a brain that ponders a speck of dust as easily as the entire cosmos; a heart that beats in rhythm with the heartbeat of all beings. When we are tired and feel discouraged by life's daily struggles, we may not notice these miracles, but they are always there. ~Thich Nhat Hạnh

life itself is a miracle and its nature

There exist Thousands of Thousands more miracles and wonders in and around us as human beings as you rightly pointed out. The regrettable aspect is contained in the conditional statement you added' if we live in the awareness of these miracles'.
These miracles are not by accident, in place by their own making or by scientific expertise/knowledge of any man but by a creator who's name is JEHOVA-(Beginning and the End) of every thing visible and invisible. Reference The Holy Bible , Genesis chapter one from verse to the last and continue chapter two, verses two to seven.
Being in denial of this indisputable fact is like a living normal man denying that (1) himself is not existing (2) the fact he had no contribution/decision when he was being formed in the mother's womb (3)that he knows the exert second, minute, hour, day, week ,month or year he will breath his last(die) not to mention the things that will happen along the space of his life span.(4)that when he looks up as he stands out side ,he does not see the sky above him which is as higher above the wisdom/knowledge of God Almighty the Creator of all things is above man's expertise .

    Wisdom and knowledge.
I therefore commend your wise observations and appreciation of nature put in place by God Almighty -JEHOVA in the union of His Trinity.

    Continued
You touched me deeply as to have spurred me into making my first ever comment like this in the Internet
From my life experiences, it will take insanity possibly not even that to make me start to think, feel, or say that these wonderful , miracles of nature are from nowhere. They are free gifts of love from God who has today given us a greater than these gifts 'JESUS CHRIST' His only begotten son the Savior to mankind.

Around us-beautiful narration of life and the miracles surrounding it. All it takes to understand the universe is to be one with the universe. A great man once said,"Life is not measured by the number of breaths u take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
