Dr. Pranab Sarmah – Everybody chairing the Rose ! What about the rain fall ? Combination of both the nature's gift leads you to the 'world' of Milkyway !

+neelav sarmah I agree, a rose without a rain, no one really wants to see, but with the rain, beauty of the rose lifted and thus impressed by many.

The quote reminds me of what Jesus Christ said, "When someone hits you on one side of your face, turn around and let him hit you the other side. To me, our Lord is telling us, rather than respodinding in the same manner of the other person, you show the person compassion, kindness & love as He taught His disciples and many people who believed, loved & respected Jesus Christ with their open hearts willing to listen and learn from our Lord. May the Lord Bless You All today, Friday 13, the day our Lord was crucified & died for our sins. For those who are atheists or skeptics, this might sound like preachng; however, I ask you to keep open minds for Faith stems from within yourself, You must accept & love who You Are first, then your life start to change! Thank you all for reading a piece of what is in my mind. Have a Blessed Friday. With Peace, Lucia T (GudingLight@maill.com)

+LUCIA Takeda Jesus, Buddha or God taught us the same thing — to be kind and compassionate. But followers refused to follow and manipulate the teaching of Lord Buddha, Jesus and/or God. I learned the same thing from the church I went to when I lived in the camp. That's what I remember.

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
