At the end

At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in. ~Mother Teresa

life never ends. there is no end to life. life is perennial   you are not the body with  life.  you are the life with a body. all the helplessness and prayer for mercy come out of life. if you watch and dissolve the weakness of mind and the dependence on mercy it creates there is only life which does not upon mercy.  the cause for prayer for mercy which is the mind depends on and works because of life which is you deathless

Great post, your right God search whats in the heart vs. what we have are want in life. It's time to focus more on the inter man vs. outer appearance. God good and He has brought me out of so much. I owe Him me forever. Use me me Lord for Your Glory…..

Indeed. People care too much about shallow things and forget about the essential, simplest and the important things in life. Very well said.

This is excatly what Jesus is talking about how do we give directly to the needy when we dont know were to send it to directly if only we had real address to give it directly to the familes and not the big organisations

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
