Fear and LOVE

There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life. ~John Lennon

When he was surprised , he was dead. Like a thief in the night the prophecy says. Be prepared by never trusting a mad man or an idiot.

If you love something enough or love someone enough fear doesn't exist.

The best love in the universe was demonstrated by God when He sent His Son Jesus Christ to suffer death for me .. They thought of me before  Themselves. It is called agape love .. the love of another that is greater than the love of self!

Yes,  "The Rose" (i.e., Titanic) will always be "The Rose" (not to mention she will ALWAYS be mine as well); that said,  I really hate to tell you all this, but there are quite a few people who would simply "LOVE" to love you all to death at the expense of every last person and precious thing which any of you all hold dear (Pol Pot, not to mention the fascist Nazis, get my drift?)  So I will ALWAYS try to  do  my (SF) best to "LOVE" them to death first, if only to lovingly and compassionately try to limit the ultimate EVIL which they will have to answer for in the "Last Day". Yes, indeed, this will ALWAYS be my ETERNAL DELIGHT !!! – Rick Carter

So, please, don't try to "X" me, because I am already X-trained in every way, and I simply LOVE to LOVE people to death who are begging for a fast exit!)) – Rick Carter

(What can I possibly say? God really knew what HE was doing when HE invented "The Rose". (I can only guess that I must be the male counterpart to that TOTALLY voluptuous vixen(3)! (Yes, 5.1+ liter lung capacity, scuba trained (closed & open circuit, measured by the U.S. military), I could already hold my breath underwater over 5 min. BEFORE I even graduated from (MCHS) high school) (Yes, mine is an English name, but I am TOTALLY loaded with Irish from both sides, and the last name should mostly explain how.)) – RC

I must admit, it is pretty amazing how, the few times I've been in love (in a romantic sense) how alive and down right invisible I felt, like I could accomplish and conquer anything! Wish I could feel that way all the time.

They can not go with each other

John Lennon comprehended the world, seen a chance for change, and knew that, that change could be generated by the way we care about ourselves and other's. His word's were beautifully spoken, and remain's one of my most favorite song writer's.

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
