‘Genocide’ and its interpretations

The [corrupted] Ministry of Culture in my country, Cambodia does not allow us to hold a religious ceremony in memory of those who perished under the Khmer Rouge regime at the Museum of Genocide on 17th April.

These so-called "memorials" and "stupas" are not there to commemorate the victims' memory, but rather to serve the real killers and 'genocide' plotters' political propaganda only – even if they had only done so in the main by proxy means and by way of indoctrination via the actual people who pulled the triggers or wielded the axes…~School of Vice

Jendhamuni Sos (only) I saw it first hand I was there very young maybe that's the reason why I have such a hard time talking to you. It brings back the horrifying memories. No one was supposed to know that we were there watching photographing I wanted to help them but we were told not to intervene. I did anyway at least some justice was served. For anyone reading this I know that they were told not to shoot them they either beat their victims to death or suffocation if they didn't die fast enough they beat them to death that is the vivid truth most of these killers escaped through China.

Pretending to care is worse than not caring at all. God bless all of us and pray for the souls of the deprived.

When Khmer kill Khmer, apparently the best thing to do is blame the Vietnamese. The linked article is complete nonsense and a sad reflection of the state of knowledge of a too large segment of the overseas Khmer communities. It's anti-intellectual rubbish.

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.

Of the many problems we face today, some are natural calamities and must be accepted and faced with equanimity. Others, however, are of our own making, created by misunderstanding, and can be corrected...
