LOVE – The Powerful Weapon

If you ever dare
To fight against hatred,
There is but one weapon:
LOVE

Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.

Love is not a weapon. I hate stupid stuff like this that people just like and agree with without using any thought. Lame. Blocked.

And if you are using love as a weapon, you're doing it wrong.

I can appreciate how positive this is. But Love is also a firm hand or a burning flame coupled with a gentle rain. It is a steady hand of balance and perfect patience between those two from our creator.

Good morning +Jendhamuni Sos.  A powerful message and so true.  Love is the only way to happiness and hatred causes internal pain, turmoil and negativity.   Thanks for sharing and have a day filled with smiles and love.  It is best to 'avoid' those who hate, in my humble opinion.

+A ashi I understand your feeling, my dear sister. But again, don't feel bad or sad. Everything is a test. Doing good and being kind is not easy for many of us in this world. But we have to be kind anyway. Don't get upset at them. They need love from us more than anyone else. I will always be here for you, little sister, no matter how slow your connection is.

Smile if your gay, you just outclass people, I was born for a purpose, they hit my mother and father in bondage, I was required, loot and nationalism.

+Jendhamuni Sos I understand, I prefer to love them from afar.  However, this is not possible all of the time and then I am confronted with the fact that I still must love them regardless.  This is what my personal belief's are and my Bibles's teachings.  Then I am at peace.  Spiritual growth is a constant endeavor.  Thanks for sharing.

Read the thesis of Augustine of Hippo the Docter of the early church of the concept of just war. The principle is when somebody invades your house and intends to murder your loved ones you also commit a sin if you fail to defend them. Just wars must be by nature defensive +Ruthie Stark – Redman

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
