Make room for the so-called enemies

I know it's very difficult for many of you to say your daily prayers for the so-called enemies. Please make room for them in your heart. These individuals need love more than anyone. Don't curse them, don't hate them, but continue to spread your loving kindness and compassion through  your prayers for them. Once you have trained your heart to extend your love and compassion to these most disturbing people, look up the sky, feel the loves and smiles from above…~Jendhamuni

This is why I pray "Om Mani Padme Hum" every day +Jendhamuni Sos  – it is a prayer for all living beings in all realms, and this is a prayer used by the Dalai Lama himself.

Our enemies deserve compassion as well as anyone else we encounter on daily basis. It truly is the right thing to do all the time. May you have a peaceful day my dear friend +Jendhamuni Sos 🙂

To love our enemy is impossible. The moment we understand our enemy, we feel compassion towards him or her, and he or she is no longer our enemy.

And you also. I read a couple of your posts and you seem to be a wise and compassionate person. Many blessings to you….

ALTHOUGH IT IS COMMENDABLE TO PRAY FOR YOUR ENEMIES–IT CERTAINLY SHOULD NOT BE DAILY! DOING SO WOULD BE LIKE FOCUSING ON THE NEGATIVE INSTEAD OF THE POSITIVE OR LIKE SEEING THE GLASS HALF EMPTY INSTEAD OF HALF FULL! AND NOT TO MENTION NO ONE SHOULD ALLOW THERESELF TO HAVE THAT MANY ENEMIES!
SO PRAY ABOUT THE GOOD THINGS–A BLESSED LIFE, PROSPERITY, A LOVING RELATIONSHIP. JEHOVAH WILL ANSWER THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOUR.

It is OK to hate what a person does if you consider it to be evil, but you should try not to hate the person because to do so is also evil.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
