Message from Senator Thach Setha to my Khmer friends

Please do not let the corrupted government brainwash us with this new bill: Criminalising Khmer Rouge genocide denial The corrupted prime minister knew he will lose the seat, so he came up with all kinds of dirty tricks just to hurt the opposition party. The fate of our country is in our hands. We must fight against this evil dictator….

and your alternative to this 'evil dictator' is the opposition leader (Sam Rainsy) who hides abroad and refuses to return to Cambodia in case the PM puts him in jail?  How Aung San Suu Kyi must recoil in horror of the cowardice of this man.  Then the other opposition leader takes a stance to say that the Khmer Rouge genocide and S21 didn't even happen and is also questioned about corruption in his own party – you couldn't make it up.

Seriously, you already have the best of a very bad set of options.

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
