MESSAGE: THERE IS HOPE MH370

Malaysia asks countries for data to help find jet

Officials revealed that the final words from the cockpit — "All right, good night" — were spoken to air traffic controllers after the plane's data communication system had been partially disabled. The pilots did not mention any trouble on board, suggesting they may have been misleading ground control.

As investigators dug through the background of all 239 people on board Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 and the ground crew that serviced the plane, a new detail emerged that strengthened speculation that one or both of the pilots were involved in the aircraft's disappearance more than a week ago…Watch video and read more

it seems strange to me that being able to turn transponders off while in flight is even possible .  What would the justification to be able to do so or need to do so be. very strange

I wonder how China would react if that airplane belonged to China. The truth is, we wouldn't hear anything more about it. China would scrub the web, whitewash all the names of the passengers and crew members, and then launch a huge sale for international flights to and from China. A week after some western media uproar, the world would start considering the great deals to fly to China. Passenger A: "Did you hear that story about the lost airplane?" Passenger B: "No, what plane?" End of story.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
