My little sister and I on November 9, 2013

Our family just buried our little sister, Alanthara on our 28th anniversary in America November 9, 2013. Yes, this day is bittersweet for us. Coincidentally, little sister is now Dany Svay’s neighbor at the cemetery. Dany is a grandson of our family’s very close friend and room mate in Texas. We moved to Massachusetts together on November 3, 1987, the day my little sister passed away [26 years later]. Dany died from drowning at his high school pool on April 9th, 2013 at age 16. We purchased a plot for our little sister, without knowing…From now on my mother and Dany’s grandma can cry together during their visits….

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
