My little sister's Birthday, today

Our little sister, Alanthara, passed a way four months ago, so today we celebrated her birthday at her graveyard, next to Dany Svay, the son of our family's very close friend from Texas, who died from drowning at his high school pool, same year. She will be forever in our Hearts. We can never live without her, but we just have to learn how to live without her right by our sides. My little sister does not have a plaque yet, till next two months due to the weather. The plaque near the balloons is Dany Svay.

Jen I'm so sorry for you, sometimes I want to talk to you . I can tell that you're hurting, I can see it in your post . I know there's no words that can fill the emptiness. What about her little ones I hope you find happiness with them I sometimes look to you for help as a friend I can only offer a ear to listen a hand to hold. And the heart of compassion. You once said you could not cry , that's not true I see it all the time in your post as a friend I'm always here as a star child I'm always by your side even after I leave here

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
