Peace — Under the Shade

Beautiful shade,
under my green tree
is what money cannot buy.

+Jendhamuni Sos I can remember when your beautiful untamed country was a battlefield torn by war and destruction because of a misnomered "domino theory." Never materialized or even more then a brainless idea costing many innocent lives of citizens and soldiers. Patriots bravely defending against invaders brainwashed by politicians to do their patriotic duty. They were lost in this senseless desire to control your tranquil paradise. I am always so happy to see the potential of your land survive to become what is only the beginning of a flower bloom. Your rivers, lakes, and streams make your forests green and their fruit sweeten the lives of rare animals, fish, and unique spirits of a nation filled with pride and abundance once brought to the edge of the abyss. It is truly a divinely inspired work of living art I will always appreciate.
So alive like a dying spirit returning to the life it once was meant to be.

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
