Seeds of Love

We all have the seeds of love in us.
We can develop this wonderful source of energy,
nurturing the unconditional love
that does not expect anything in return.

That is so me +Stephen Ward I spent so much time living in the forest with my grandma when I was a little girl, so I'm so used to it. And can never get my mind off the place. I just love nature. I feel peace and connected to my grandma too.

Night is not only for sleep,
    It's to Forget today's Sorrow,
To dream today's Joyness & to receive Tomorrow's
Happenings. "Happy End of the day"
    GOOD NIGHT..

+Jendhamuni Sos Our creator has made us a product of love and therefore, it is the basic emotion that covers the whole spectrum of life.  Every one feels it.  Every one needs it.  Love is the food for our soul that nourishes us to get better every day.  Create new relations to keep going is a way of keeping enough supply of it.

If only our countries Leaders could understand this wisdom, then maybe just maybe the world could be a better place. Till then we all live in hope 🙁

Love is marvelous….All troubles start once one starts expecting…I may be wrong but in my view…'Love is complete surrender'….where the word 'Expectation' has no meaning.

Dear friend +Jendhamuni Sos , thanks for the thought provoking quote! We all need being loved, hence we condition our mind for getting love against love given! However, as our basic need is to get love only, our expectations for getting more love always remain. Perhaps, that is where Lord Buddha helps us! His actions provoke compassion in us. Love in form of compassion is most suited. As our need for compassion is not give and take! You are much wise in the area I just ventured. Please correct me, if I am wrong.

Passion is from the Latin meaning suffering, compassion to share the suffering. I can't see love having anything to do with this. If we eliminate suffering, love will still exist.  +Hemant Dave

+Charles van Dijk I apologise if I have chosen the wrong word! What I menat was the deep awareness of and sympathy for another's suffering, without feeling of love / affection / attachment. Thanks.

+Hemant Dave It is like observing a traffic accident, you do your duty love is simply not part of it. On the contrary it can be a hindrance especially with family. But as a carer you must have a feel of what needs to be done.

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
