Sometimes you just have to act like a Child

The rain will stop,
the night will end,
the hurt will fade.
Hope is never so lost
that it can't be found.

If anyone causes one of these little ones, those who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

How do you know this photo was took on a street in Cambodia?

As I can see in the photo,
the currency that another woman offer the beggar is not one of
    Khmer currency.

Each and every country in this world has beggars.
I agree with you that in Cambodia there are some heartbreaking beggars but I don't see those beggars everywhere, it's not all over the place. If I met a heartbreaking beggars I will offer food or some money,
advise them to find a job…
I will not take his/her photo to post in G+ to show the world
without ask permission. We should respect them. They just have a bad time.

Via your comments you try to tell everyone that Cambodia is full of
beggars, Cambodia full of Bad thing…. then you ask them to Visit Cambodia. Do you think they will buy airplane ticket to come to visit our country ? No, I am sure they not come.
Cambodia used to fall in a very bad time. Cambodian people live like a beggars, It is black Pol Pot regime (1975-1979).
As a result million of innocence Cambodian people included beloved member(s) of your and my family were killed or starve to death….
No one come to visit or help Cambodia…!

If you really love your mother land Cambodia you should try to tell everyone how good Cambodia is, show them the beautiful photo of Cambodia nature, the Angkor Wat famous temple, beautiful smile of Apsara and Cambodian people….
Then I am sure they will come to visit Cambodia more and bring lots of
fortune, Benefit Cambodia economic and people.

    Concerning about government,
Cambodia have an election to choose a government
every five years under UN and Foreign observers.
Therefore, Cambodian citizen have full right to choose a good government to lead the country.
If the current government all the members are bad, I am sure this government will not re-elect.
But if they are good, they will re-elect. It's democracy.

+Bunsomesa EV G+ only allows 500 comments per post, that's why you couldn't write comment there. Thank you so much for voicing your opinion here. Unfortunately, I don't work for the corrupted government, that is why I had to say what I wrote on my previous post, instead of lying to the whole world, that my country is so beautiful. I do not know how to lie. I'm very sorry to say that I work for the poor, not the prime minister. The suffering of the poor children, is also my suffering…

+Bunsomesa EV the fact that they need UN observers proofs her point. In this age of digital manipulation photographs are no longer admissible in a court of law. Publishing photos as reference could put anyone in trouble in a police-state. I have never been in Cambodia, but I have seen beggars even in Australia. At least it doesn't get me in trouble here. We just have to take her word for it, all I know they have a drug problem, some of my countrymen were kidnapped and never came back. Would love to photograph Angkor War . The custom in the west You don't have a right not to be photographed in public. If you like us to visit your country, accommodate our custom or advice us to stay home.

No it is not correct. May be Jhendamuni is a social worker but there are hundreds and hundreds of photographers in even India who depict the poverty of rural areas .. they even organise exhibitions there by trying to bring out awareness in higher classes, at the same time win best artist's or photovraphers awards. The thing is if we see a dirty child with running nose what will be our first reaction.Usually we despise it. At the same time we admire the art for being real and down to earth. So I dont find anything wrong in taking a photo and post it or publish it for alerting the public.

+usha lavanya A picture equals a thousand words. Poverty is not a natural occurrence in nature. Therefore it should be a human right to have a secure income.

philosophy is mainly backed by thinking- may it be logical- but usually it is difficult to put in practice. Hundreds are suffering. I myself am fighting for the same H R! But no body is bothered..same old recorded message will be made audible to you-'law will take its own course'. We have to get contented with it.

+Munna Mohib Thank you so much for your kind support. If you don't want to grow up, you don't have to, you can stay as innocent as a child…According to Buddhism, I died many lifetimes already, risking my life during this lifetime, to save the unfortunate children is such an honored for me. I would rather live just one day as a caring person…

Thank Jendhamuni for replying my comment.

I am very happy to hear that you are working for
the Cambodian people specially for the poor children.
Cambodia is a developing country meaning that
lots of thing need to be done and Cambodian citizen have to
take action be involved to make Cambodia move forward better.

For me, my country Cambodia is beautiful.
I love everything here nature , sea, temple, good people,…
I was born, grow up, and will die in Cambodia.
    No other place like home.

In the country there are about 14 million people.
I cannot say all of them are good people have good heart.
There some of them are bad. Those bad people make country
    Cambodia hurt.
If you know someone Mr.A, Mis.B are bad citizen
you can show the world via G+, blog, Newspaper that
Mr.A have done this bad thing and Mis.B have done that bad
instead of trying to tell the world the Whole Country
Cambodia is bad(not beautiful). You understand what I means.

As you have read my comment,
Cambodia used to fall in a very bad time called "Pol Pot" regime 1975-1979.
Million of innocence Cambodian citizen were killed or starve to death.
In 1993 United Nation(UN) come to find peace and help prepare a national election.
UN mission have been finished but the full peace still not yet found.
Pol Pot group not agree to unite. They control some part or country territory continue to kill, kidnapped Cambodian and foreigner include Australians.

Finally in 1998, full peace has been found by Cambodian itself.
All group are united under one constitution.
Since then we have a national election every 5 years, prepared by Cambodian itself.
UN and Foreign observers are welcome to help advise observe the election process to make sure that the election is going well, fair and acceptable by all the political parties.

Cambodia is a beautiful country in southeast Asia.
Million tourists come to visit and the number visitor
is grow up every year. The famous temple "Angkor Wat"
(but not "Angkor War" you misspell) is the biggest tourist hub of Cambodia.

We welcome you to visit Cambodia and take photo.

+Bunsomesa EV I thank you so much for taking your valuable time to teach me this valuable lesson. I'm very old, but still very uneducated, comparing to you. I knew so little about our country. +Bunsomesa EV First of all my apologies for the spelling mistake that is the automatic spell checker of my phone. +Jendhamuni Sos is a G+ friend of mine which I admire and support and us Aussies support our mates through thick and thin. I  may visit your country some time but I don't like to stay in some 5 star flash hotel, people who know me know I like to mix with locals. Don't think I attacked you personally, however if expatriates like my G+ friend don't feel safe to return because of her ideas neither would I feel a need to support the economy as a tourist. Please tell that to your local representative. Regards Charles van Dijk.

+Audrey Beasley my brother/sister, disobeyer of Almighty God, will not get smell of heaven, Adam (pbuh) disobed, that's why parted from heaven, it's lesson for all, we people believe that our prophet (pbuh all) will take US heaven, is false, non of the prophet (pbuh) said that you disobey Almighty God and He(pbuh) take you to heaven, They(pbuh) said follow me, means the way of blessing, we better read conversation inbetween Almighty God and Satan, Satan is father of hate, he was first to hate Adam(pbuh).we people spreading hate and thinks, helping religion, we all are son of Adam(pbuh) and Eve(pbuh)instead of loving each other we people hate each other why, because we people are faraway from Almighty God, our heart is his home, if we love Almighty God depth of heart, then we won't hurt any of his creation, Almighty God bless all of US Amin.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
