+Michael Howell I am not at all. I only watch comedy show, and my mind only thinks about funny stuff. It's always like that. When I stayed at the temple with buddhist nuns, they laughed too much every night because of me. I made nuns violate a lot of rules :))))

+Michael Howell Never judge the book by it's cover. I am not a sad or lonely person at all. I have fun wherever I go, even at the funeral service I still have fun too. I love attending the funeral services the most because I learn so much about the impermanence of lives.

+Michael Howell No problem. A great lesson for you. Whatever I posted here, such as depression, the guy name stick and the girl name match, etc. are only educational purpose only. Also I wanted to study people's behavior at the same time.

I would never let my mind control me.
I want to be the master, not the slave
    of my mind and desire.

+Jendhamuni Sos HTC Velocity has voice recognition, puts verbal sentences into text no problem at traffic lights. 40 years ago this was science fiction, has everything. On a more serious note, thinking is two categories. Subjective and objective. I agree people should check their subjective thinking, objective thinking you can't do enough of. Example I buy two boxes of tampons for my camping trip. What do you think? ……………. Don't look at the sentence underneath.

+Hemant Dave The girl in the chemist tend to give me a funny look, amongst some other items they have for sale. Never judge a book by it's cover. O yes split the item over it's length prior to use.

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
