Somtimes, I wish

Sometimes, I wish certain people
won't tell me that they love me.
Do You know why?
So that I don’t waste my time
believing their sweetest lies.

Note: This is not Jendhamuni's story

The only thing you can do is stop talking to those people. Make a rule that you people can't tell you they love you. Because it hurts your feelings when they lie.

"I love you" is perhaps the most uttered, and therefore the most meaningless, sentence in any language.
I've become practically superstitious in my avoiding saying it (except to my cats!).
In most cases, it seems to me to be used as a way to demand something from the other person: either the expectation that they respond with "I love you too" or else the expectation that they must now do what the other person wants because they said they "love" them. As if the sentence had some kind of magic power.
Besides- I really believe that if you truly love someone, you'll show it. It doesn't need to be said, except by people trying to convince the other person… or, just as often, themselves

Bonjour to all and most to u +Jendhamuni Sos saying i love u is just a compliment nowadays…its more meaningful to hve that words if they can show thru works of acts…we can say i love u to all but if love is meant for one great person it must be done thru with great care & acts towards for the person….

That's a pretty good post I noticed that most people today talk the talk but can't walk the walk I don't think they even know how which is pretty sad they can't tell the difference between a friendship love and a personal love. Saying I love you is easy proving it is another story.

"believing their sweetest lies." do not  believe on  their sweetest lies…..but always believe on your heart and mind what they  say about him and always keep it in your  mind that if your heart feel love or sympathy and he remains in your mind and heart ….. your heart feel delight to think about him….its means its a true love …because love not comes its happens to you …..  and " sweetest lies" do not  last a long …and your heart and mind will never  remind or recall him .

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
