1. Love and pain in another Heart

    197

How much can we ever know about the love and pain in another heart? How much can we hope to understand those who have suffered deeper anguish, greater deprivation, and more crushing disappointments than we ourselves have known? ~Orhan Pamuk, Snow
  2. God's Kindness

Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile. ~Mother Teresa
  3. The real message of LOVE

    209

Through my love for you, I want to express my love for the whole cosmos, the whole of humanity, and all beings. By living with you, I want to learn to love everyone and all species. 4. When we meet someone and fall in love

When we meet someone and fall in love, we have a sense that the whole universe is on our side. And yet if something goes wrong, there is nothing left! For my Cambodian friends
Starting tomorrow, I will post 90 percent of Cambodian news on this new blog http://kimedia.blogspot.com/ instead of the old one. I just set this blog up 6 days ago. Since the passing of our team leader 8 months ago, no one has an admin access to this blog. Takes a lot of time for me to do a manual update.  I will keep this blog as clean and fresh as possible and hope the corrupted Cambodian government will not shut this blog down again!

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
