Only one thing is difficult for me forgive someone i know it's not a good thing. You know sister! my mum's observation about you is you mostly pick water images because you're a very calm person and close to nature is she right? And yes forgot to tell you on your Sunday post she said "Look at her hairs so so beautiful and long" i write her exact words. Take care sister:))))

+A ashi Thank you my dear little sister. Your mother is so sweet. I love nature very much. I grew up in the forest, very close to nature. And of course I do love water so much. Love looking at the reflection in water. Water is part of my meditation practice, so I think your mother is right on this. Anyway, you need to learn how to forgive. Try to forgive as much as possible. If you cannot forgive, you cannot live in peace. Life is too short to live in anger and hatred. We never know when we are going to depart from each other. Just look at my big brother, who died recently: So unexpected. The good thing is, my brother and I never had anything against each other. We care for each other and respect each other so much. So we depart from one another with good memory.

+A ashi Thank you, sister. It's not easy, but you must add that to your daily practice. It takes time, but down the road, it will become so natural and easy for you to forgive, almost everyone. It's okay for someone to hurt us or cheat on us, as long as we don't hurt others and cheat on others. Everyone is responsible for his/her action.

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
