The kind of world

I don't want to live in the kind of world where we don't look out for each other. Not just the people that are close to us, but anybody who needs a helping hand. I can't change the way anybody else thinks, or what they choose to do, but I can do my bit. ~Charles de Lint

Think some-time it is not that we do not want to care for others, but because living in this era of time where every-one needed to work hard for a living, due to high rise in rental, food, clothing ,education and last but not least our transportation. We too have our family to take care too,so we are sort of forgetting to spare some time with friends and people around us who may need our caring and concern, thus it make us look like an uncaring bunch of selfish lots.

The world we are living today can be a friendly one ,but it also can be a cruel one too.
there are bound to be agreeable and disagreements from time to time. The world we live in today divide into many countries, states and islands,as for the people, there are different race, religions, social habits and so on…..so the chances of getting into arguement or some-time fights are unavoidable, but still we can learn to to share and care for each other,by being more patience with people and spend more time to understand each other. we can try to organize small neighboring gathering through family members birthday or even create a monthly gathering from family to family so we can discuss our habits and believes with each other,by doing so we know what we can do and say to each other without being hateful and angry with others.

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
