Speak the truth.
Give whatever you can.
Never be angry.
These three steps will lead you
Into the presence of the Gods.

Truth has an amazing power, it floats like a buoy on top of the waves. God is like conciousness without it nothing exists.

Excellent advice, without 'truth' what do you really have?  Truth will set you free.  Godspeed

+Jendhamuni Sos one question… who draw such illustrations for you? They are very nice and creative. Sorry adding one more… who might be the other person (God) depicted?

+Hemant Dave This drawing is not special for me. A buddhist monk gave me the copy for my website. I don't know why the name of the artist was removed. As the second part of question, I would not answer it now. I don't want to provide you with incorrect info. God in here is different from God in other religion. I will post about that in the future.

A holy spiritual God, in all walks of life is tremendous, as long as he instills love in your heart.

+Jendhamuni Sos thanks for reply. Perhaps you know that Lord Buddha is considered as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism. So, I was a little more curious. I await for your reply on the same.

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
