The source of Love

The source of love is deep in us and we can help others realize a lot of happiness. One word, one action, one thought can reduce another person’s suffering and bring that person joy. ― Thich Nhat Hanh

Oh, so happy to hear that from you, my dear +Kenneth Chow I never know that you used to volunteer in ER. I would love to become a nurse one day, but I'm so afraid of blood and needles and surgery, and many things. I could pass out easily when I see blood, that's why I study computer and video stuff instead of nursing.

+Ghazi Riman This is not my photo, I don't know who to credit. A friend of mine sent me this pic a while ago. I love it a lot! Thank you for your kind words. My body gets so used to sleep between 2 – 3 hours for over 20 years already, I should be okay.

My dear +Kenneth Chow I will not have time to sleep 6 hours every night, maybe once a month:)))) I work 40 hours full time, for a living, and the rest go to charity, with the remaining of 2 to 3 hours for bed time. I am always happy so I should be okay. I'm one of the most healthiest child in the family and the only one who got the least sleep too. Charity works gives me so much energy and many smiles.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
