The spirit of LOVE

The most treasured and sacred moments of our lives are those filled with the spirit of love. The greater the measure of our love, the greater is our joy. In the end, the development of such love is the true measure of success in life. ~Joseph B Wirthlin

+Jendhamuni Sos I wonder if I am dreaming when I say the development of a means or procedure to reliably replicate love will ultimately be the most profound breakthrough in the history of civlization?
Is it also possible this process may have already been discovered and will save this tiny orb we call earth from annihilation and or destruction?
This was my hope when I began over +26 years of research. Although stolen by those I trusted and used for their personal gain, I still believe one day it will prove to be the umbrella of protection for the unification of life and our environment. I also knew theft by others may prove to be the only answer to widespread dissemination of the information, although I knew it meant I would be forced to relinguish what had been produced to end human suffering and required the very limits of my perseverance and strength to create. It was also the fulfillment of my love and hope for the betterment of humanity which I knew would be the source of betrayal and deep disappointment when it was taken, plagiarized, and presented by others as their own work.
I suppose in a somewhat opposite sense it is a variation of the theme found in Dostoevsky's short story: Dream of a Ridiculous Man.
Only in my story the end of the dissertation I authored provides for salvation, rather than the ruination of all we deem significant.
Also, if you will allow my purely artistic inquisitive perspective to ask how or where do you find the many enchanting images accompanying your thoughts and words which seem to be as beautiful and graceful as yourself?

    The Spirit of Love

If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.

If I speak the words of Love with power, revealing all Loves mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love myself, I’m nothing.

If I give everything I own to the poor and even die for a good cause, but I don’t love, I’ve got nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

    Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for itself.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut around like a peacock,
    Doesn’t have a big head,
    Doesn’t force itself on others,
    Isn’t always “me first,”
    Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the wrong doings of others,
Doesn’t doesn't feel good when others feel bad,
    Takes pleasure in the truth,
    Puts up with anything,
    Trusts in Love always,
    Always looks for the best,
    Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.
Love never dies. Inspiring words will be over some day; speaking of Love in unknown languages will end; understanding will reach its limit. We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about Love is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our incompleteness will be canceled.

When I was an infant at my mother’s breast, I gurgled and cooed like any infant. When I grew up, I stopped being like that.

We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as Love sees us, knowing Love directly just as love knows us!

But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that total fulfillment: Trust steadily in Love, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
