Think of someone

Before you say an unkind word – Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food – Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife – Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Before you complain about life – Think of someone who went too early to Heaven.

Before whining about the distance you drive – Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job – Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job…

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down – Put a Smile on your face and think: You're Alive and still around.

Thanks you called the dog on my photograph cute. You realise the wolf mankind encountered was transformed into a shepherd? The wolf is now an endangered species. The dog on the other hand is alive and well. The fittest don't always survive, in this case the friendliest.

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
