True Beauty

True beauty is looking someone in the eye
while flashing a true genuine smile.
~Motivation one day at a time

Now, that you know what a true beauty is,
you must flash a genuine smile at me every second!

+Jendhamuni Sos With all due respect, you never know when a classically trained artist will lecture you on the meaning of "true beauty" from all of civilized history containing a measure of true modesty, and humility to complete the equation accurately.
Charm, grace, and modesty are essential to define beauty. Time will often change a transient brief glimpse of symmetry and vitality. We won't touch upon the subject of the impact of unforeseen disease, suffering, accidental disfigurement, and cruelty on the fragile fleeting quality.
Some day you will meet an elderly woman once in possession of this rare attribute. Ask her how it feels to lose her attractive appeal never to be more than a distant memory.

A true smile, could be reguarded or interpreted as being flirtacious or even too much by some. So it is better for me to say; I hope your day went well 🙂

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
