But, more than anything else, meditate to  understand the situations causing anger and stress, it will without fail calm you down as the causes actions that led to you stress and pains lie far beyond the apparent factors or persons. I have just read Wisdom of Compassion by the Dalai Lama and Victor Chan that an Irish man who lost his eyes at 10 when hit by a rubber bullet from a Scotsman meets without any malice soldier who caused this after 35 years, all he comes to know is that the soldier perpetrated this act only under the most justified situation as a riot controlling personnel, but when he came to know of the harm done to the child he felt a devastating pain and remorse and shared with the victim that had he known that it would have caused the loss to this child he would have never taken the action.
What I am saying is that had the victim in this story unlike him gone mad with anger and held the soldiers responsible and taken a violent path to rake revenge what would have happened– only worsening of the situation without understanding the reality.

Anger can cause negative stress which is destructive . It should be rather converted to a positive stress which helps you to grow in life !

It is a fact even scientifically. When you engage your thoughts in a meaningful activity, NEW CIRCUITS are formed in the BRAIN, forming new Habits.
I am sharing to help others as well. Thanks.

Live & Die for Buddhism

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
