Waterfalls

Waterfalls such a beautiful sight
So peaceful and quiet
The water shimmers as it falls
Blue and clear

Hear the whisper in the air
As the water flows around
Listen at the sound
As it calms you down

It lets you think
Your mind in a spin
As you wonder
At the amazement of a waterfall

It is graceful like a swan
As it flows down
It is like a gentle breeze
Such a tender touch

Waterfalls can touch your soul
Your heart
Make you wonder and think
What beauty nature brings

Water flows to the lowest point only there it collects the nutrients the world offers, be humble (lowest point) and listen and gather the lessons the world offers you.

I left Luzon in 1985, right after my grandma passed away +Charles van Dijk Both of my grandmothers are buried there, next to each other. I believe 28 years ago.

+Rolly Fortin So you are in USA now. I grew up in Luzon. That's the place I missed so much. I shared so much memory with my beloved grandma. My grandma raised me since I was a child, but she left me in 1985.

+Jendhamuni Sos regression of a religion manifest itself by applying the fear factor. Europeans really tend to go back to their pagan past when they apply this. Aboriginal children were separated from their natural mothers. Etc etc.

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.

Of the many problems we face today, some are natural calamities and must be accepted and faced with equanimity. Others, however, are of our own making, created by misunderstanding, and can be corrected...
