Whatever choice you make makes you

Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely. ― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

Hi Jendhamuni, I hope all is well. I have missed all you great posts from Google Plus. You were one of my favor individuals. This is an accurate post. Every Choice we make is a direct reflection of who we are, they type of person we are. Even though I don’t believe in a god, I always try to do the right thing, be kind and helpful, understanding and respectful of other people, their beliefs and cultures.

How is your family? How is your Nephew doing? I am sure it has been hard on him since he lost his mother (your sister). I remember when ever I was feeling a little down I would read you post and it would ground me. You had a calming affect on me, which not many people do. Are you on any other social media?

    Your Friend
    Michael

So nice to hear from you again, Michael.

I did not forget about you at all. I miss our Google plus friends so much, especially our little circle of friends back then.

My late little sister’s son and all of us here are doing well despite the coronavirus pandemic. Hope things are going well on your end. Stay safe.

May peace be upon you always, Michael.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
