You Can Never Be Too Careful

You can never be too careful,
that's what I always say,
and so I wear a hat, or two,
in case my hair turns gray.
I've thirteen tires on my car,
in case I get a flat.
I wear my pants size fifty-three,
in case I grow too fat.
You can never be too careful,
I'm sure you'll find it's true.
I see the doctor every day,
in case I catch the flu.
I carry twenty handkerchiefs,
in case I have to sneeze,
and forty seven bandages,
in case I skin my knees.
You can never be too careful,
so if I take a walk,
I tiptoe everywhere I go
and whisper when I talk.
I hide my money in a box,
and lock it up inside Fort Knox.
My house is made of bricks and rocks.
The front door has a hundred locks.
But now I have a problem, see,
I'm locked inside without the key.
I've lost it and I can't get free.
I hid it much too carefully!

I liked this poem very much, I will forward it to friends and such, I hope they understand the words, and do not think it's too absurd.  The lines have meaning; every other, from one poet to another……

Sounds a little bit like "swiss style" – Insurances for everything that could happen in life :))

    What ever it is!!!
    It is a wonderful shot!

    BUT
We have to remember constantly that
    however you are skilled…
If the rivers and canals are dry, If the skies are pale and empty, and acres and acres of fields are just ploughed and wear only a desserted look..
You will be a big ZERO.

Beauty BASICALLY lies in the OBJECT and then gets transmitted to the viewers getting reflected
in their paintings portraitst photos and other types of art.

    Life always
    reminds us…
    they say…
    'To gain something
you may have to lo bear with the 'loss' of something else.'
    I say,
'To be able to eat something you may have to drink something.'
    (कुछ खाना है तो कुछ पीना है not कुछ पाना है तो कुछ खोना है)
THANK YOU for reminding me that we should always depend on our own skills and efforts not just on sheer luck!

Live & Die for Buddhism

Me & Grandma

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
