What is the good of your stars and trees, your sunrise and the wind, if they do not enter into our daily lives? – E.M. Forster

Yes, it seems like most of the people ( including me😂) are losing such simple touch of nature in daily lives. I have planned to escape a couple of weeks for long drive into the mountains , woods and sea beaches. But all the family members and my doctors are creating an obstruction as there is a strict warning of doctors not to drive car on highways because sometimes oxygen level of body comes down . No problem there is a plan B to Mauritius next month. Let us see what happens 😉

Feeling very shameful to say happy belated birthday Jen as your birthday was on 31st October. Actually I waked up with the happy birthday wishes calls from friends and family members today , you know these days I am facing memory problem just like what I was going to do and to whom I was going to call and in addition to that identity the people to whom I meet after an interval . Good evening from here Jen.

Have a most wonderful day, Jayesh. Don’t worry about my birthday. I don’t even think about it myself! Always nice to hear from you.

My Reflection

This site is a tribute to Buddhism. Buddhism has given me a tremendous inspiration to be who and where I am today. Although I came to America at a very young age, however, I never once forget who I am and where I came from. One thing I know for sure is I was born as a Buddhist, live as a Buddhist and will leave this earth as a Buddhist. I do not believe in superstition. I only believe in karma.

Tipitaka: The pali canon (Readings in Theravada Buddhism). A vast body of literature in English translation the texts add up to several thousand printed pages. Most -- but not all -- of the Canon has already been published in English over the years. Although only a small fraction of these texts are available here at Access to Insight, this collection can nonetheless be a very good place to start.
